How to Compare Two Men's Supplements Properly

Step 1: normalise the serving

Compare per serving, then check servings per container. A 60-capsule bottle at one capsule daily is 60 days; at two it is 30. That number decides cost per day.

Step 2: extract or raw powder

A large milligram figure on a raw-powder label is not automatically stronger than a smaller extract figure. Full method in our label guide.

Step 3: named amounts or a blend total

Individually named amounts let you assess each ingredient against research doses. A single proprietary-blend total does not. Frequently the fastest differentiator between two similar products.

Step 4: evidence quality per ingredient

Sort each into three buckets: authorised nutrient claim, studied with mixed results, traditional use only. Check against a neutral source such as the NIH ODS fact sheets rather than the product page.

Step 5: claims compliance

Scan for disease claims: treats, cures, reverses, boosts testosterone. A supplement making those is operating outside the rules, which tells you about the operator's standards generally.

Step 6: stimulant content, honestly

Green tea, guarana and green coffee bean all carry caffeine. Check the label rather than the “stimulant-free” badge.

Step 7: guarantee and purchase terms

1. Guarantee length and whether opened product qualifies
2. One-time purchase or auto-ship enrolment
3. Who pays return shipping
4. Whether the seller is the official source
